Women throughout the ages have enjoyed collecting fashion, everything from Imelda Marcos' 3,000 shoes to Princess Diana's gowns. I wanted to explore the whole concept of shopping through the symbol of the purse. Rather than shopping at the mall, I foraged nature and recycled items to celebrate the beauty and boldness of nature.
I would never had predicted people would be buying all the beans and toilet paper off the shelves, but cheap gasoline and cruise vacations would be rejected. Everyone started baking bread and going for walks on the trails with their families.
